Barn Owl Tyto Alba feet are perfectly designed for hunting. The talons are powerful and designed to pierce the prey’s body, allowing the owl to maintain a firm grip while carrying it. The toes are flexible and can move independently, which enables it to manipulate its prey, and are covered in rough, scaly skin that provides traction. Unlike other owls, the Barn Owl’s feet are partially feathered to help reduce noise when hunting.
