In the Trossachs in the Southern Highlands of Scotland, hidden in the heavily wooded eastern shore of Loch Lomond, Inversnaid Falls flows powerfully down from Loch Arklet into the still waters of Loch Lomond. The loch and its surrounding Atlantic oak woods are designated as a Special Area of Conservation within the Loch Lomond National Nature Reserve.
Richard started photographing landscapes as a hobby in 2012. With
a keen interest in weather phenomena as part of his compositions,
Richard spent most of that time capturing Dartmoor in Devon then
moving to Stirling in Scotland where he now enjoys visiting what
Scotland has to offer from the peaks to the coastline, highlands and
islands.
