Bidean A’ Ghlas Thuill or An Teallach 1062m, overlooks Little Loch Broom and the ‘Great Wilderness’ of Fisherfield Forest in the north-west Highlands of Scotland. Wild winter weather often creates dramatic ‘cornice’ effects along the high crest of its complex ridges. Large volumes of wind sculptured snows may aggregate, making treacherous conditions for walkers and climbers on this spectacular mountain.
