Nash Point on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast of south Wales is a headland with near-vertical cliffs of limestone and mudstone, shales and conglomerates, where fossils like ammonites and tetrapods can be found on the bedrock beach at low tide. These rock formations, uncover the Earth’s history from the Carboniferous Period 350 million years ago, to the Blue Lias of the early Jurassic Period 180 million years ago.
