On the Isle of Skye are a series of natural, crystal-clear waterfalls and plunge pools in the Allt Coir’ a’ Mhadaidh burn, within Coire na Creiche in the Black Cuillin mountains. Sgurr an Fheadain 688m, is the prominent mountain peak at the head of the coire. Bidein Druim nan Ramh 869m, and Bruach na Frithe 598m rise beyond, shrouded in cloud.
Barbara took up hill walking in her late twenties and capturing scenery on film seemed a natural progression so that pretty soon she was getting work published. Self taught, and working alone, Barbara seeks fleeting light and wild weather in her work.
