First light on Sgurr nan Clach Geala 1093m in the Fannichs, Easter Ross, Scotland. This magnificent mountain is a fine north-south ridge with an impressive eastern corrie of broken crags. Its name means ‘Peak of the White Stones’. Close by are the neighbouring Munros of Meall a’ Chrasgaidh 934m and Sgùrr nan Each 923m.
