Photo of the Week

Although common, the Treecreeper Certhia familiaris has superb camouflage against rough tree bark, and is not often seen as it climbs mouse-like up the trunk of a tree. Treecreepers only move in a upward direction on the tree and will fly or hop down again staying within a small territory. They nest in crevices in the bark and line it with spider webs, moss and feathers.
