Waterfalls along the course of the Allt Coir’ a’ Mhadaidh river as it cascades down from the Cullin Hills, Glen Brittle, Isle of Skye. Felsite dykes formed between 23 million and 66 million years ago intrude into the igneous gabbro bedrock causing differential erosion in which waterfalls and pools form in a series down the valley.
