Beinn a’ Chearcaill 725m is often referred to as ‘the forgotten peak of Torridon’. Although only a small mountain it is surrounded by the Torridon giants of Beinn Eighe and Lliathach, Beinn Dearg and Ben Alligin. From its remarkably flat  Torridonian sandstone summit, the views of other nearby peaks are extensive.

About Michael Stirling-Aird

I’m passionate about exploring and trying to make images in wild places, especially the North West Highlands. My main advice for landscape photography is to explore with an open mind; spend time in the landscape to get a feel for it, and let the surroundings inspire you. Doing this will present memories that will last you a lifetime, and perhaps unique opportunities to make images.
